Member Services

Member Services is your first connection in supporting your well-being. We aim to serve your needs as a member or guest through efficient and effective communication. We strive to ensure you feel knowledgeable, supported, and validated in every interaction. From registering you for a course to renewing your membership, we look at how all your needs can be met in the present moment and continue to be met in the future. It is our goal to provide nothing less than excellent customer service each time you visit our office and continue to build a strong community of individuals here at UNC Greensboro.

Locker and Towel services

Inclusive, Men’s, and Women’s locker rooms are located on the first floor of the Kaplan Center. Visit the Welcome Desk to purchase both locker and towel service.

    • All rental lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. 
    • An active membership is required to purchase locker service. 
    • Locker service is not eligible for payroll deduction. 
    • Leaving food in lockers is prohibited.
    • The renter can change their locker combination upon access to the locker. 
    • Contents left in expired lockers will be bagged and held at the Welcome Desk. Any contents unclaimed will be donated at the end of the month. 
    • Report any issues with your locker to the Welcome Desk.
    • An active membership is required to purchase towel service.
    • Towel service is not eligible for payroll deduction. 
    • One bath towel per patron, per visit.
    • All towels must be returned to the Welcome Desk before exiting the facility.

    A physical, valid government-issued photo identification (license or passport) with proof of age.

    All memberships* and additional services must be paid up front by cash, check, or credit card (Visa or Mastercard only).
    *Faculty/Staff memberships can be paid through payroll deduction only (not offered for add-on services). 
    *Memberships and additional services cannot be charged to a University account.
    *Credit card information is not kept on file, therefore are no automatic renewals for memberships/services.

    • Faculty/Staff/Retiree- UNCG University ID Card
    • Additional/Affiliate Members- Kaplan Center ID Card

    * Club Sports – only UNC Greensboro Students
    * Intramural Sports – only UNC Greensboro Faculty, Staff, and Students
    * Parking Pass – only Additional, Affiliate, and Alumni members

    Membership fees are non-refundable* unless canceled within three business days of initial purchase.  Membership fees are non-transferable to other membership periods or to other persons.

    *Exceptions may include moving beyond a 50-mile radius from UNCG, employment termination, or a physician-verified illness or injury.

    All membership rates are subject to change at the beginning of each academic year (August).
