Each year the University of North Carolina at Greensboro implements the online alcohol use prevention and sexual violence prevention programs known as AlcoholEdu and Haven. These programs are both confidential and personalized based on your own individual answers. Because UNCG cares about students’ health, safety, and academic success, the University REQUIRES every first year, non-transfer, non-international students under the age of 21 who is entering the Fall 2017 semester to complete AlcoholEdu and Haven. Transfer and International Students DO NOT have to complete AlcoholEdu. However, they DO have to complete Haven. Who needs to complete AlcoholEdu?

ALL first year, non-transfer, non-international students under the age of 21 who are entering the Fall 2017 semester.

How will students find out about MORE AlcoholEdu and Haven?

Students and parents attending Orientation are informed of the participation mandate through presentations, as well as in written information included in orientation materials. Students entering the institution in the fall will be sent an e-mail to their UNCG E-Mail account with directions on how to log into the AlcoholEdu® program.

When will AlcoholEdu® and Haven® be available?

The courses will be available for student log-in beginning July 10, 2017, for students entering in Fall 2017.
