First Aid and CPR Certification


p>Have you ever wanted to save a life, but did not have the proper certifications? Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED (Lay Responder) is the basic level course incorporating the latest science and teaches individuals how to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies. Participants will also learn how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age.

UNCG’s Staff Senate, in conjunction with the Department of Recreation & Wellness, will offer American Red Cross CPR courses taught by experienced instructors. Courses utilize a blended-learning model combining online learning, in-person lectures, videos, demonstrations, practice and testing skill scenarios. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certification that is valid for two years.
